Aims to reduce social isolation among older people in Horsforth. Various weekly activities are arranged as well as regular day trips further afield and one-to-one befriending by volunteers.
Regular weekly activities include - exercise classes (Mon am), dancing (Tue pm), lunch clubs (Tue and Thu), indoor bowls (Thu am), drop-in (Thu am) (all at Central Methodist Church, Town Street). Pub lunches (Mon) and assisted shopping by minibus (Wed am and pm) - both collected from and returned home.
