Friends of Hall Park

The preservation and promotion of Horsforth Hall Park.

Friends of Hunger Hills Woods

Protecting, preserving, maintaining the ambience of this precious natural woodland and improving pedestrian access.

Grove and Rawdon Theatre Company

Adult and Youth Theatre company with members from age 11yrs Also social section

Horsforth Arts Society

Welcomes artists of all ages and abilities. Meets at The Studio, 15 Back Lane, Horsforth

Horsforth Choral Society

All adults wecome. The group rehearse and stage two concerts per year and a Carol and Christmas music concert. Meets St Margarets Parish Church, Lower Hall, each Monday 7.30-9.30pm (September to Easter)

Horsforth Churches Together

Representatives from eleven organisations, including all nine churches, meet four times a year to work in unity. They aim to take the caring church into the community.

Horsforth Civic Society

To retain the character of Horsforth and its surroundings. Meets second Wednesday of alternate months at 7.30pm at Horsforth Conservative Club, Town Street, Horsforth

Horsforth Cricket Club

Cricket, three adult sides, four junior sides. Meets King Georges' Field, Brownberrie Lane

Horsforth Fellandale

Off road and cross country running club.

Horsforth Golf Club

18 hole golf course and putting green. Junior training: Wednesday 5.00-7.00pm and Sunday, 10.00-12.00noon Layton Rise, Horsforth

Horsforth Grove Wives' Group

Varied programme of speakers and summer outings. Meets at the Parlour, Grove Methodist Church, Town Street. Thursdays, 7.30pm, fortnightly

Horsforth Harriers

Road, cross country and fell running. Meets at Horsforth Hall Park Cricket Club each Tuesday at 7.00pm

Horsforth Live at Home Scheme

Central Methodist Church Town Street Horsforth Leeds LS18 4AH Aims to reduce social isolation among older people in Horsforth. Various weekly activities are arranged as well as regular day trips further afield and one-to-one befriending by volunteers.

Horsforth Village Historical Society

Studies Horsforth local history and is responsible for running Horsforth museum. Meets third Tuesday of the month at 7.45pm at 5, The Green, Town Street

Horsforth Womens' Institute

Guest speakers, demonstrations, visits, arts and crafts. Everyone welcome. Meets St James Parish Centre, third Monday of the month, 7.30pm

Horsforth Woodside Bowling Club

General bowling daily, April to September

St Margarets Mothers Union

A varied programme of speakers and activities, evening events during the summer. Meets at St Margarets Parish Church Hall, the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 2.30pm
